From the Da Nang airport arrivals area, the car leaves by Duy Tan street, crosses the Han River on Tien Son Bridge and joins the wide, palm-lined Vo Nguyen Giap and Truong Sa boulevards. This coastal road runs along the foothills of the Marble Mountains, with wide views over the East Sea. When the road enters the Hoi An boundary, it continues onto Lac Long Quan street towards Cua Dai.
The seaside stretch has the fresh breeze typical of the Central Vietnam coast. In the soft morning light or late afternoon, the outline of the Cham Islands (Cu Lao Cham) can be seen on the horizon.
