A Half-Day Private Car Tour from Da Nang to the Summit of the Hai Van Pass
This tour is a private car programme of about four hours from Da Nang up to the summit of the Hai Van Pass, the “Number One Gateway Under Heaven”, for wide views over Da Nang Bay and Lap An Lagoon. It is priced by a 4-, 7- or 16-seat vehicle and returns you to Da Nang.
The driver stops at the Hai Van Quan gate and at a viewpoint or cafe of your choice so you have time for photos. The length of each stop should be agreed when you book, and the weather on the pass can change the plan.
How the Half Day Works
Pickup: The car collects your group at the lobby of your Da Nang hotel.
The climb: The car takes the winding pass road, with views over the bay opening up as you rise.
At the summit: Visit the Hai Van Quan gate, take photos and, if you like, have a coffee with the view.
